Acne Rosacea is a chronic disease of the skin of the face caused by angioneurotic disorders. It manifests itself in the form of persistent areas of redness, pustules and tubercles, and other skin rashes. The disease affects 8-10% of the world's population, mainly fair-skinned women.

Causes and course of the disease

The exact causes of rosacea have not yet been determined. But they are most often associated with other diseases, such as diseases of the stomach, endocrine system, and general weakening of the immune system.

There is also an opinion that rosacea appears due to the ingestion of certain bacteria. They could not be found in the pustules, but when taking antibiotics, a decrease in the severity of the disease is observed. Sometimes rosacea is caused by mites of the genus Demodex, and in this case, patients are diagnosed with "rosacea-like demodicosis."

It believed that rosacea is also a hereditary disease since the disease often found in blood relatives. However, this does not give an idea of what exactly provokes the disease. The theory that rosacea is a consequence of mental disorders has also not been confirmed. Instead, on the contrary, the disease itself and its protracted nature, in some cases, lead to mental disorders.

And although the exact cause of the disease has not yet been established, we can say that with a predisposition to rosacea, they provoke:

the use of spicy and spicy food, hot drinks (tea, coffee) and alcohol,

weathering of the face, overheating or hypothermia of the body,

stress and increased physical activity

taking certain medications

the onset of menopause.

Rosacea has three stages of development; in the first, redness attacks begin in patients. They are mistakenly referred to as a simple manifestation of emotionality. However, then the areas of redness on the forehead, cheeks, and nose become stable, bright red, sometimes reaching a blue color. Vascular damage occurs, expressed in the manifestation of spider veins.

The following stages of rosacea characterized by the appearance of acne, edema of the skin in the forehead and between the eyebrows, and then the thickening of the affected areas of the skin.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to completely cure rosacea. However, drug treatment and cosmetology with a combined effect can significantly improve the appearance of patients.

Rosacea Treatment

After diagnosis, patients prescribed metronidazole as an antiparasitic and antimicrobial agent. Antihistamines also prescribed. And in extreme cases, antibiotics can be prescribed.

To reduce the severity of rosacea, topical agents used - antiparasitic creams and gels and azelaic acid preparations.

With a pronounced vascular network, patients prescribed the vitamin preparation Ascorutin, which strengthens the walls of blood vessels.

Cosmetic procedures for rosacea

In addition to medical methods, cosmetology allows patients with rosacea to achieve excellent results. Moreover, without the help of a cosmetologist, it won't be effortless to achieve visible results.

At the center for the appearance and cosmetology of patients, rosacea received by cosmetologist Julia Evgenievna Menshikova, also a leading practice of a dermatologist-venereologist at the City Hospital No. 5 of Barnaul.

Since telangiectasia (vasodilation on the nose, wings of the nose, cheeks) is one of the main symptoms of the disease, the laser technique is one of the most effective cosmetic methods for treating rosacea. The solid Light NEO neodymium laser in the device considered to be the best way to treat vascular pathologies today. Laser flashes selectively "glue" blood vessels at the site of exposure, stopping blood circulation in them and, consequently, redness. Healthy skin areas are not damaged. Inflamed skin and even scars left after acne caused by rosacea simultaneously treated. The procedure is entirely safe and comfortable, and also does not cause any side effects. After completing the course of treatment, the skin acquires a natural shade, the vascular "mesh" completely disappears.

Cryotherapy is beneficial in this disease, during which the affected areas of the skin exposed to short-term exposure to shallow temperatures (-160 degrees Celsius), which causes rapid spasm and vasodilation. Such "gymnastics" stimulates blood circulation and metabolic processes in the skin activate tissue nutrition. The skin renewed, it becomes soft and smooth.

With rosacea, plasmolifting and other injection techniques can be prescribed. Their advantage and effectiveness lie in the fact that biologically active and nutrients are introduced directly into the middle and deep layers of the skin, providing a good penetration of the active substances. Mesotherapy allows you to get rid of acne and post-acne, thickening, and excessive dryness of the skin caused by rosacea. At the Exclusive Exterior and Cosmetology Center, all injection procedures performed with exclusively high-quality foreign-made drugs that have passed the strictest control by the RF Ministry of Health. However, only a qualified cosmetologist can prescribe the procedure, taking into account all the indications and individual characteristics of the client.
