Before popularity

Jamala was born in an ordinary Tatar-Armenian family. Even though the future singer was born in the small city of Osh, which is located in Kyrgyzstan, she spent almost all her childhood in Malorechensky. Her father is the Crimean Tatars, whose family was once deported from the country. But, despite this, after a certain period, he decides to return to his historical homeland already with his family. Thus, the parents of Jamala settle in the Crimea and open their own business in the field of tourism, having bought a boarding house. The girl's mother was a creative person and, even during pregnancy, accompanied the soloists on the piano. Admittedly, this predisposition to art was also transmitted to Jamal, since already in a year and a half, the girl showed her vocal skills in kindergarten perfectly. The future singer was a brilliant child and developed very quickly compared to her peers. At nine years old, she knew exactly who she would become in the future and what she would devote her whole life to music.

In addition to the usual high school, Jamala also attended music, due to which she was able to take part in many children's competitions and win the "Children's Rain," the main award of which was the opportunity to record her album. Subsequently, Jamala was able to release a collection of her songs, which for a long time, broadcast on local radio stations. Parents themselves were simply happy and proud of their daughter, however, her prospect of making music professionally, they were not very pleased, because they believed that it was more important to get a traditional higher education. But they were not going to dissuade her and gave her the will to choose her future path in life.

Fame

At the age of 14, she became a student of a music school, where she was taught classical and opera singing, and also forms her jazz band called Tutti. Then, after three years, she decides to enter the National Music Academy in the city of Kyiv. There she was able to become one of the best students, who, undoubtedly, opened any doors in the music world. At the age of 15, she actively performed and participated in many domestic and foreign competitions, repeatedly winning. In 2009, she already decided to become a member of the "New Wave," where she performed the delightful composition "Little Son." Thanks to her excellent performance and voice, Alla Pugacheva applauded her while standing. Thus, Jamala becomes the owner of the Grand Prix "New Wave," thereby making a significant leap in her career.

In 2009, she was also invited to play a significant role in the Spanish opera Hour, where Hollywood actor Jude Law was delighted with her singing. In 2011, she tried her luck at Eurovision and eventually lost in the final. In the same year, he released his debut album. Exactly five years later, she again decided to participate in Eurovision and won with her song "1944". After that, the singer releases a mini-album. In the future, she actively pursues her career, takes part in musical performances, releases songs, acts in films, and receives many awards.

Personal life

In April 2017, Jamala married Bekir Suleymanov and two years later gives birth to a son named Emir-Rahman Seit-Bekir.
